TERMISTOP
Termistops are non-chemical, physical termite barrier made of high grade stainless steel mesh, available in a range of sizes, designed to be fitted to plumbing and other service penetrations before the concrete slab is poured. When clamped to each individual penetration, the concrete "keys" into the mesh eliminating the small gap between the concrete slab and service pipe that would allow entry by termites. Termistops alone address only single pipe penetrations and should therefore be used in conjuction with Bora-Care Commercial termite treatment to provide protection to all potential termite entry points.
Bora-Care Commercial
Bora-Care Commercial Termiticide is a "green" mineral-derived borate-based EPA-registered product applied directly to the structure of a building as a primary termite barrier. It uses a patented glycol solution to create a continuous barrier of protection on concrete, masonry, metal/steel, wood, pipe penetrations, bath traps and other subterranean termite entry points. Bora-Care Commercial is applied as a continuous horizontal and vertical application in a minimum two-foot band to all structural wood, foundations, bath traps, and/ or pipe protrusions. It provides the highest level of active ingredient against termites and is the only borate-based termiticide with product-specific long-term efficacy studies and application histroy against subterranean termites.
