The SC6 irrigation controller replaces a timer to govern irrigation by soil moisture content to save water. The controller comes with one sensor, which is buried in the ground near a valve box. The sensor assesses your soil type and automatically sets a watering threshold. You set the irrigation program, and the controller only waters when the soil needs it. Saves 30 to 50% of the water ordinarily applied with a standard timer. Suitable for indoor use.

Convert your irrigation timer to soil moisture sensor based control! An Acclima soil moisture sensor is buried in the turf near a valve box. It is connected to the existing wire system - no need for new wires from the valve box to the controller. The SCX controller module easily attaches to the wall next to your irrigation clock. It is powered by the 24v terminal on your clock, and interrupts the common on the timer when the soil moisture exceeds the user-set threshold. Saves 30 to 50% of the water applied by a standard timer.
